One common chinglish sign that i see is one that says "Notice the safety" Interesting.....
On a completely unrelated note, this is a picture I took while riding the #39 bus a few weeks ago. Yes, that is an open can of liquid splashing about. Yes, that liquid is gasoline. I mean how else are you supposed to keep from getting stranded in the middle of a thriving metropolis besides keeping that extra gallon of highly flammable liquid layin' around...........

Too bad the signs don't have a phone number listed to report unsafe conditions, like the safe driver stickers on the back of semis.
"notice the safety. to report open canisters of flammable liquid call 1800 559 5959. ride friendly"
haha..... unsafe conditions......im pretty sure if there was such a number they wouldnt care either way. The "safety precautions" at a certain trian track crossing that i frequent consist of actual pictures of dismembered bodies from train accidents.
"caution: falling limbs... of people..."
"notice the dismembered bodies."
"get hit by a train carefully"
Ha, ha, nice translations, Emily.
