I woke up this morning to find an email from my Dad of Katie holding a wadded up pile of blankets.......... upon further request i received a picture of Etta Knickerbocker. To celebrate the birth of my niece, i decided to use some ground pork i had sitting in the fridge to make breakfast sausage. when i went into the kitchen to investigate, i realized that i also have a mostly unused box of bisquick. I read the required ingredients and lo, all it required for biscuits was milk! An incredibile breakfast of sausage and biscuit sandwiches was fast becoming reality. Thinking quickly, i scrolled my memory and found that i had a vague notion of one time owning a packet of gravy mix. a quick check in the cupboard confirmed and after verifying the required ingredients, (again, Milk) my simple sausage idea had transformed into a full blown biscuits and gravy (with a side of home made sausage) meal. -note the beatifully captured steam emitting from the sausage patties (top center)-
