On Monday, i went out and took pictures. Here are a few gems:
This guy is a guard for an apartment complex who insisted that i take a picture of whatever it was the he was pointing at inside the gate. we ended up in his command post/apartment. So i took some pictures.


This was an unintentional shot. its interesting the contrast between this man and those behind the glass in the background.
Here is my city from the top of a pedestrian bridge. you are looking the big square in town
and finally; a treat for Dad. Orient Home is China's version of Home Depot. it feels surprisingly similar inside and you can find tools ranging from Bosch to DeWalt

That looks fun. Great picures! It looks as though you receive a warm welcome wereever you go. The people seem very friendly and I like the city. I can't wait to see it first hand.
